THE DO-OVER DINER • LIVE THEATER NEAR THE VILLAGES, FLORIDA
LOVE • LAUGHTER • SECOND CHANCES • MARCH 13 & 20, 2027
WHAT IF LIFE GAVE YOU ONE MORE CHANCE TO GET LOVE RIGHT?
Step back in time to a charming, old-fashioned diner where the coffee is always brewing, the jukebox is playing, and the past has a funny way of finding its way back into the present.
The Do-Over Diner is an original dramedy about love, laughter, choices and second chances. At the center of the story are Kate and Tom, two people whose lives remind us that sometimes the road we didn't take can find its way back to us when we least expect it.
Starring Donna Gayner as Kate and Marcel Hogue as Tom, this heartwarming stage production blends touching moments with unexpected humor and a question many of us have probably asked ourselves at least once:
If you could do it all over again, would you?
MEET KATE & TOM • A STORY ABOUT THE ROADS WE TAKE AND THE ONES WE LEAVE BEHIND
Life has a way of moving forward whether we're ready or not. We make choices, build relationships, follow different roads and sometimes wonder what might have happened if we had chosen differently.
In The Do-Over Diner, Kate and Tom find themselves confronting those very questions inside a nostalgic diner where memories, laughter and unexpected possibilities begin to collide.
Donna Gayner and Marcel Hogue bring Kate and Tom to life in a story that isn't simply about looking backward. It's about discovering whether life can still surprise us, whether old feelings can find new meaning, and whether a second chance might arrive when we thought that chapter had already been written.
There are moments to laugh, moments to remember, and perhaps a few moments that will make you think about your own journey.
Because sometimes the most interesting question isn't “What if?”
It's “What would I do if I got another chance?”
WRITTEN BY LUANNE “ANNIE” HUNT • AN ORIGINAL STORY CREATED FOR THE STAGE
The Do-Over Diner isn't an adaptation of a movie, television show or another playwright's work. It's an original story written by award-winning songwriter and storyteller Luanne “Annie” Hunt.
After writing thousands of songs throughout her career, Annie brings that same instinct for emotion, storytelling and memorable characters to the stage, creating a story about relationships, choices and the possibilities that can appear when life gives us another chance.
The nostalgic diner setting provides the perfect backdrop. It's a place where conversations linger over coffee, old songs stir forgotten memories and two people can discover that perhaps the past isn't quite finished with them yet.
At its heart, The Do-Over Diner asks a wonderfully simple question:
If life offered you a do-over, what would you do differently?
